Privacy Policy
Last updated October 4, 2026
This policy describes the Viewcat website and launch signup. Public video editing is still in development; we will update this policy to describe its data handling before public access.
Information we use
The website stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser. Our hosting provider may process technical request data, such as your IP address, browser information, and access logs, to serve and secure the site.
If you sign in
Google sign-in provides your basic profile and email address. Viewcat stores account and session information in MongoDB Atlas. Launch signup records your announcement enrollment and its consent status. We use these records to manage access and launch updates.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the website. Google provides sign-in and the website fonts. MongoDB Atlas stores account records, and EmailOctopus manages announcement subscriptions. These providers process information needed for their services and may process it in other countries.
Your choices
You can clear the stored theme preference through your browser settings. If you receive announcement emails, use their unsubscribe link to stop future announcements. Account deletion removes the Viewcat account’s launch membership record; email subscription status is managed separately by the email provider.
Updates
We will update this page when the information we collect or the way we use it changes. The date at the top shows the latest update.
